We're looking to add a Greenhouse Worker to our staff.
This position is essential as a role that helps to grow and ensure optimum quality of product for our customers Here's some of the responsibilities you can expect in this role on a daily basis:
Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of products, sizing, packaging, and quality.
Assist the Greenhouse Operations Manager and Growers with duties in other greenhouses as requested.
Harvest products according to customer specifications and food safety procedures.
Communicate potential shortages or overages of product to Grower or Assistant Grower.
Follow procedures and instructions for seeding, watering, fertilizing, spraying, pruning, deadheading, transferring, and moving flats and plants.
Assist the Grower and Assistant Grower with monitoring plant health.
Follow all food safety program procedures and guidelines.
Assist in areas of the Packing Room in order to complete the tasks necessary on an as needed basis.
Maintain a positive work environment with clear and friendly communication.
Keep work area clean, neat and safe.
Complete reports for safety and other operational issues.
Perform any other duties necessary to meet job responsibilities.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
