My client has been around for more than 100 years and they continue to develop products that are used in a wide variety of industries to include wind energy, aerospace, building products, automotive and transportation.
They are seeking a leader in the Process Engineering field to focus on improving quality and product efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong history within the rubber field and have a keen interest in leading, monitoring and implementing continuous improvement processes throughout the manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will be located near Huron, Ohio but there is relocation assistance for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities for the Process Engineer:
Be a key player in the continuous improvement efforts of product and manufacturing process capabilities while developing the improved product specifications.
Lead the efforts for product quality improvementsLead the safety efforts and audits of environmental metrics as needed.
Utilize daily troubleshooting to foresee process inefficiencies in order to maintain product quality, safety and manufacturing process effectiveness.
Lead and mentor your team while developing employees on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to assure operational responsiveness as well as increase the technical knowledge of your team.
Work cross functionally with the Production department and report any deficiencies to ensure it is resolved immediately.
Use SPC to control and establish Key Process input and output variables.
Support all of the Continuous improvement projects throughout the manufacturing processes.
Work with the leadership team to advise them on any new applications or new advances to the plant facilities.
Be the leader of any changes to systems or processes.
Work on process related capital equipment projects.
Qualifications needed for the Process engineer:
Mechanical Engineering degree (Industrial Engineering or Polymer Engineering could substitute)Fast learner and quick to pick up on learning curveRubber experience to include rubber bases extrudingexperience with Calendering, rubber mixing and pelletizingStrong COntinuous improvement historyCan train a team and speak to all levelsLean or Six Sigma experienceEPDM experience is a plus as is rubber based extrusion or any rubber based chemistry Salary:
$70,000.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
